Jeannie Mongouachon has an in-depth expertise on competition and distribution law and, more broadly, on economic law. She assists her clients in the negotiation of their commercial contracts, in the setting up of distribution networks (franchising, selective distribution, commercial concession, commercial agency) and in the validation of their commercial strategy, regarding competition, distribution and consumer law. Furthermore, Jeannie assists and defends her clients facing competition investigations (Competition Authority, European Commission) or administrative investigations (DGCCRF, DDPP etc.) and during litigation initiated by competing operators before the commercial courts.
Jeannie Mongouachon has also developed a specific expertise in IT / IP / Data. She assists her clients (digital services companies, start-ups, SME, large groups) in the definition of their digital strategy (e-commerce websites, intermediation platforms, etc.), in securing their intangible assets, in drafting their IT contracts and in setting up and implementing a data policy in compliance with a GDPR (data mapping, drafting of GDPR documentation, GDPR training, compliance policy). In this context, Jeannie is appointed before the CNIL as Data Protection Officer - outsourced DPO - for several companies (professional federations, multinationals etc.) and advises her clients on all their national and transnational GDPR issues.
Jeannie started her career in Paris in 2008 at Latournerie Wolfrom & Associés before joining Baker & McKenzie. She set up her own firm in Lyon in 2014 and was a partner at Quorum Avocats before joining Squair in 2023.
Jeannie is a graduate of the University of Lyon III (Master 2 International Business Law) and of EM LYON (Master in International Management Law).
