Squair (Blandine Gény & Clara Toubert) supported Azur Datacenter in structuring and negotiating the financing of its new high-density datacenter dedicated to artificial intelligence, located in the industrial zone of Meyzieu, east of Lyon.
This transaction, structured in the form of bond issuance programs worth a total of 20 million euros, was arranged by O2 Capital Asset Management via its Oxygen Senior Loan 1 SLP and O2 Capital RED vehicles. This financing is part of Azur Datacenter's expansion strategy in the high-density digital infrastructure market, with a focus on use cases related to AI and HPC (High Performance Computing).
Founded in 2010, Azur Datacenter is a French operator specialized in data hosting and colocation. The company operates several datacenters across France and is developing a network of next-generation sites designed to meet the computationally intensive needs of artificial intelligence applications. This new site in Meyzieu will have an installed capacity of 15 MW and will integrate direct liquid cooling technology (DLC — Direct Liquid Cooling), making it possible to meet the intensive computing requirements of next-generation AI applications. The site is expected to be operational before the end of 2026.
