Squair (Charles-Louis Pierron) advised Sportfield and Jean Maleyrat, its founder, in the context of the first fundraising of one million euros, carried out with private investors in order to support the industrialization of sports infrastructures and the opening of new paddle sites in urban areas.
Sportfield pursues a simple and ambitious mission: to make sport accessible to everyone, everywhere in urban areas.
The company inaugurated its first emblematic site, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, with the support of the City of Paris and Paris&Co. This pilot site illustrates Sportfield's vision: revalorization of wasteland urban spaces, public-private partnerships, openness to all audiences (schools, seniors, residents) and a strong commitment to the feminization of the practice, with a 50% female participation rate.
This fundraiser allowed Sportfield to open two additional fields in Paris in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and four fields in Lyon.
The firm worked alongside the founder of Sportfield to structure and secure the entire transaction: negotiation of investment conditions, drafting of legal documentation, organization of future governance and preparation of the contractual framework necessary for this first round. This fundraising gives Sportfield the means to accelerate its development and to consolidate a model already recognized for its social and urban impact.
