
Squair (Renée Kaddouch-Kulbach for corporate matters, and Anaïs Ferré for tax law) advised a group of business angels on the €22 million Series A funding round for the startup VoltR.
This financing combines a €16 million equity investment from the SPI 2 Fund—managed on behalf of the French government by Bpifrance as part of the France 2030 initiative—and Decathlon PULSE, Decathlon's investment and innovation arm dedicated to creating new growth engines. It is supplemented by €6 million in grants secured through the Première Usine program.
Founded in 2022 by Maxime Bleskine, François Mallet, Thibaud Maufront, and Alban Regnier and based in the Angers region, VoltR specializes in the remanufacturing of lithium batteries.
