Quentin Renaud is a member of the Paris Bar active in the field of intellectual property, including copyrights, trademark law, industrial designs, geographical indications. He also has a significant expertise in related practices such as communication law, unfair competition, contract law, and e-commerce (consumer law and personal data processing). Quentin represents his clients both in litigation and in transactional matters, where his mission may include the performance of due diligence, advising on strategies, negotiation and drafting of contracts, legal opinions, etc.
Quentin enjoys providing long-term and thorough support to his clients, ranging from iconic brands to start-ups, but also including investors, communication agencies, producers, distributors, authors, designers, artists, performers, as well as their beneficiaries/heirs. Quentin has an in-depth knowledge of the fashion and luxury sectors as well as of the digital, media, film & TV, publishing, art market, and music industries. Furthermore, he has over the years developed an extensive practice in the management of intellectual property rights of designers in the fashion and luxury industries.
Quentin decided to join Squair in 2022, after having worked for eleven years at Intervista and Degoulet, two top tier law firms in the IP sector. Prior to being sworn in as a lawyer in 2011, Quentin had worked as a financial analyst in banks specialising in the financing of the film & TV sector and cultural industries, and as the manager of an independent newswire.
He is a graduate of the University of Paris II - Assas and of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, and holds a DESS in Law and Administration of Audiovisual Communication from the University of Paris I - Sorbonne.
