A lawyer since 2017, Nicolas works mainly with companies in a situation of underperformance, their managers and shareholders, in order to support them in the search and implementation of adapted solutions, if necessary in an amicable framework (ad hoc mandate, conciliation) or judicial framework (safeguard, receivership or judicial liquidation).
He also regularly advises buyers and investors in the context of the takeover of companies in difficulty or strategic assets in a judicial context (sale plan, pre-pack sale) or in bonis (distress M&A) and also works alongside creditors facing complex situations to help them best preserve their interests (precautionary measures, enforcement procedures, implementation of collateral and trusts).
At the same time, Nicolas has developed a solid expertise in business litigation, whether in disputes relating to collective proceedings (liability of directors, personal sanctions), commercial litigation or even corporate law (governance conflicts, post-acquisition disputes), including in a cross-border context.
With a Master of Laws in Economic Activity Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from University College London (UCL), Nicolas worked for more than eight years in the restructuring and business litigation teams of international firms, before joining Squair in 2025.
