Marie is a partner in the firm’s Environmental and Energy practice.

She advises private and public sector clients on complex environmental regulatory matters, from advisory work through to litigation.

Her experience covers industrial environmental law (classified facilities, contaminated land, chemicals regulation, carbon allowances, cession or redevelopment of industrial sites), circular economy and waste regulation, biodiversity and natural resources (water law, protected species), as well as energy (renewables, self-consumption, energy efficiency).

Marie regularly assists clients with the structuring of projects contributing to decarbonisation and the energy transition. She combines regulatory insight with a pragmatic understanding of operational constraints, with a view to enabling business transformation while strengthening environmental protection.

She also advises on ESG and sustainability matters, including CSRD, corporate sustainability due diligence and greenwashing risks.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2020, Marie previously practised with leading international lawfirms, including A&O Shearman and Eversheds Sutherland LLP, before joining Squair in 2026.

She has contributed to the drafting of an international treaty project on environmental rights and was a finalist in the inaugural Prix Badinter (2025), organised by the French National Bar Council, for her work on environmental democracy.
