About
Magali has an in-depth expertise in procedural techniques. She represents companies (French and non-French), shareholders and managers, both as plaintiff and defendant, before the civil and commercial courts, in litigations pertaining to commercial matters (debt recovery, breach of contract, breach of talks, unfair competition and parasitism, brutal breach of established commercial relationships, interim measures, enforcement procedures, etc.) and corporate issues (reps and warranties, earn-out, dismissal of corporate officers, exclusion of a shareholder, corporate officers’ liability, shareholders’ disputes, etc.). She always assesses together with her clients whether to opt for a litigation or seek an amicable solution and builds a strategy taking into consideration the commercial and financial stakes.
Her experience in litigation allows her also to help her clients develop and enhance their business relationships by defining with them the most appropriate legal framework and contractual strategy, while anticipating the risks of future conflicts.
Magali also intervenes to identify and manage the criminal risks related to the company's activity and its organization. Sher assists corporates and managers, defendants or plaintiffs, at all stages of the proceedings (police custody, judicial inquiry, criminal court, plea bargaining...) and advises her clients on procedures available to defend their brand image (defamation, insult, infringement of the presumption of innocence, denigration...).
Magali holds a Master’s degree in European Business Law from the Paris X-Nanterre University and an LL.M. from the University of Potsdam, Germany – summa cum laude. She is a member of the French APM (Association for Project Management). She works in French, German and English.
