Joséphine Lalieu has been a member of the Lille Bar since November 2015.
After gaining professional experience in the professional liability department of an insurance company serving independent healthcare professionals, the legal department of a hospital, and the French Medical Conciliation and Compensation Commission (known as the CCI) for the Île-de-France region, Joséphine Lalieu practiced for over ten years at a leading healthcare law firm in Lille.
She handles medical and professional liability cases, both in advisory and contentious matters, with an approach focused on medical risk management and taking into account the financial and insurance-related aspects of each case.
She assists healthcare professionals and institutions, as well as their insurers, at every stage of a dispute, from risk assessment to the the management of litigation before civil and administrative courts, as well as before the CCI.
She also has expertise in disciplinary proceedings and assists its clients before the professional regulatory bodies of their respective Orders (doctors, nurses, midwives, physical therapists, pharmacists, etc.), including at the conciliation stage.
Joséphine Lalieu provides support to all accident victims—following traffic accidents, workplace accidents, accidents in everyday life, assaults—as well as their loved ones, to ensure that they receive full and fair compensation for their losses. Thanks to her dual expertise in both defense and claims, she takes a comprehensive approach to each case, considering all medical and financial aspects, and assists the victim throughout the entire process, both in amicable and legal proceedings.
