Aqdas Mohammad

About

Aqdas is an expert in insurance law and industrial risks. She helps secure companys' activities (audits, contractual adjustments, assistance in choosing the most appropriate insurance cover) and assists her clients in the mobilization of insurance policies.

Aqdas also has a significant experience in construction law, and regularly advises and assists contractors, BETs, prime contractors, maintainers or subcontractors in pre-litigation and litigation procedures (including judicial expertise) before both administrative and judicial courts. Her scope of intervention includes in particular pre-delivery claims, products’ technical failures, builders’ liability, and recovering outstanding debts in the context of real estate projects.

She also represents clients in institutional (ICC, CMAP, LCIA) and ad hoc arbitration proceedings in domestic and cross-border cases.

Prior to joining Squair Aqdas was an associate with the law firm Tesla (now known as Altes) before launching her own boutique Aspen Avocats in 2019, dedicated to alternative dispute resolution. She holds a Master in Business Law and Economic Law from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master in Litigation, Arbitration and ADR from the University Panthéon-Assas. She also holds a post graduate master in International Business law and Management from HEC/ESCP Europe. Aqdas is trained in mediation, collaborative law and participative proceedings and is a visiting professor in the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne teaching Business Law and Economic Law.
